Shortly before we left Asau in Samoa, Glenn, from yacht Vindsång, mentioned that John, one of the three guys on the catamaran Anna, would be 64 in a couple of days’ time. It seemed a good idea if we could play the Beatles song, “When I’m 64”, for his birthday. We could not find the music for it aboard, but Lyn managed to write it out with the help of Andrew singing it. In the morning Lyn rowed over to Vindsång and Glenn played the

song on a CD, which improved our written version. Jens, Glenn’s crew, worked out the guitar chords. Glenn wrote out the words. Then we all went over to Anna and performed our birthday song for John.
